Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 經濟學系 === 103 === Allocations for airport problems are required to satisfy non-negativity and no-subsidy. The slack maximizer rule selects the allocation keeping the longest distance in the lexicographic maximin manner from violating both requirements (Thomson, 2015). The nucleolus is another famous rule for airport problems. It maximizes the welfare lexicographically. In the paper, we show that the nucleolus coincides with the slack maximizer rule.
