Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 土木工程學系 === 103 === Dense graded asphalt concrete is the most widely used In Taiwan . The Basic Oxygen Furnace Slag (BOF) is a byproduct of steelmaking process, it has good physical properties as aggregate. The use of BOF in the asphalt concrete instead of natural aggregates, will be able to solve the problem of lack of natural resources. In this research BOF was used in dense graded asphalt concrete. Marshall specimens were made to conduct several experiments. The results show that adding BOF can improve some performance of dense graded asphalt concrete like Marshall stability , indirect tensile strength and resilience modulus. The Marshall stability and resilience modulus were positive correlation. The BOF can be used in dense graded asphalt concrete and improve some performance. Keywords:dense graded asphalt concrete, Basic Oxygen Furnace Slag (BOF)
