The purpose of this study was to investigate the dynamic characteristics of the bolted structure through the modal tests. The influence of the use of bolted conditions such as the bolt diameter, bolt pitch and the tighten force was mainly concerned. According to the experimental results, using more same bolts can optimize dynamic characteristics. Using M12 bolt can effectively reduce the dynamic deflection. Using M8 bolt tightening torque is proportional damping ratio. Using finite element analysis observe tightening torque, the number of bolts and bolt diameter for the contact area, contact stress, strain the contact surface, the contact surface displacement and the displacement of the L shaped plate, the contact area is generally in direct ratio to damping ratio for the bolted structure to the dynamic characteristics.
