Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立勤益科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 103 === In recent years, Taiwan's traditional industries have been moved outside to mainland China and Southeast Asia, and now mainland Chinese has become the largest foundry in the world. Taiwan's enterprises are facing greatest challenges in cost and innovation; so, it is more important for process capability nowadays. In this study, Six Sigma method (DMAIC) was used to improve the quality of milling process of body of overlock sewing machine. Conducting the Taguchi method, we found the critical factors and levels in improving the stability of surface roughness of the body of overlock sewing machine. The results showed that Taguchi and Six Sigma methods are quite perfect in resolving the quality problems in traditional industries. And the results in this research can be referred by the milling process of body which needs surface roughness in the bottom.
