The leading edges include capital, core technology of RD, the quality of product and service. To keep or further step forward on competitive advantage, the crucial is the management of human resource and it directly affects the efficiency of operation management of company. The scope of human resource management includes recruitment and selection, performance management, training system, motivation and reward.
Performance management is the one of important topics in the business management. It is the key connection between business strategy and operation management. In performance management system, employees could be evaluated systematically in a specific period and the evaluation could be a reference for salary adjustment, promotion or job adjustment. Furthermore, depending on the result of performance management, it offers a method to modify the career plan of employees or adapt some training program for improvement.
In this research, we would study the performance management in the hand tool companies which is traditional industry in Taiwan. They would always are looking for service revolution and high quality product for their customers. To keep the core values and motivate their employee to pursuit continuous improvement, building an efficient performance management is very critical topics. My Research is to summarize how to build and execute the performance management system in hand tool industry.
