Egret has adaptable in this process .In this study we focused on the Urbanism''s Effects on egrets habitat selection. And to explore Egret’s habitat needs for the environment and the areas. According to investigate the Period of industrial population, there are agriculture era (1920-1970)、Industrial era(1970-1988) and Service Economy era(1988-2014) and investigate the distance of Egretry’s buffer. In this study we use GIS（Geographic Information System）to the amount of land-use changes as the Urbanization indicators in central of Taiwan. Egret’s foraging and moving distance for buffer analysis as the indicators ecological changes Construction within the scope of the study of urbanization and ecological changes related indicators in central Taiwan then to carry out the research each index. The results of this study, urbanization indicators and Ecological Changes indicators in central Taiwan has high degree of correlation in the period of Agriculture, Industrial and Service economy. Ecological Changing’s indicators is corresponds to the period of service economy and agriculture. Urbanization in central Taiwan provide habitat factor that Egret can select. This new factor of habitat was mainly that Egret has environment adaptable after the urbanization. It produces new urban ecological significance by Egret can Reselect their foraging environment.
