Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 中國文學系所 === 103 === Both Sino-Vietnamese and modern Chinese originated from Middle Chinese, some characteristics of Middle Chinese are reserved, but due to the effect of space and time, each language has sound change in different strata. This thesis applied statistics method, selected 8091 Chinese characters as a study object, made separate studying on three aspects such as the corresponding relationship between Sino-Vietnamese and modern Chinese, the corresponding relationship between Sino-Vietnamese and Middle Chinese and the corresponding relationship between Old Sino-Vietnamese and Middle Chinese. This thesis discovered some corresponding rules in initials, rime and tones among them. Mastering the corresponding relationship between Sino-Vietnamese and modern Chinese will help to Chinese teaching and Chinese character’s pronunciation memorizing. Studying the corresponding relationship between Sino-Vietnamese and Middle Chinese will help us understand more about the original appearance of Chinese in Tang dynasty period, provide important and reliable evidences for study in Middle Chinese. For the corresponding relationship between Old Sino-Vietnamese and Middle Chinese, this thesis continues the study achievements of predecessors such as Wang Li, Nguyen Tai Can, Vuong Loc, and then, keeps studying intensively, discovers more language database and indicates that Old Sino-Vietnamese not only has relationship with Old Chinese but also leaves traces in Sino-Vietnamese. From strata of Old Sino-Vietnamese, this thesis also helps people watch stealthily some characteristics of Old Chinese, supplies the language academic circle with valuable phonetic data. Due to the limitation of Old Sino-Vietnamese database, the thesis does not obtain any considerable progress in the study of the corresponding relationship in its tones section. This blank space should be supplemented by the studies in future.
