Nowadays, state of art requires more improved patterns for the actual requirements and also meets several challenges in the design of this type of mixers. This study focuses on the fluid characteristics comparison between the Kenics static mixer popularly applied in the market and the novel Tri-helical static mixer under the same turbulent condition by numerical simulation, which proceeds by using a commercial package CFdesign of computational fluid dynamics. The numerical analysis shows Tri helical element, in the case of an aspect ratio of 1.5, Reynolds number in the interval of 5000 to 30000. It’s Nusselt number increased to 135 to 915.
