Description
Summary:碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 資訊管理系碩士班 === 103 === The purpose of this research is to improve understanding of the nature of online religion. By examining two folk religion social websites, we want to find out what motivates individual users to use online religious social websites and which factors affect those motivations. Based on the theory of content analysis and text mining, religious social websites and religious web activities are examined. This study uses keywords to examine what types of messages gained the most clicks of “Like”, “Share” and comments on Facebook and present the results by word clouds. This study uses Social Network Analysis to understand internet users’ acceptance of online religion social websites. The difference among different religions and religious websites will also be compared. We examine the reasons for the success of these websites, as well as reasons why young users accept new religious media. The outcome of the research will be useful for online religious service providers and non-profit organizations to manage social websites and internet marketing.
