The subjects in this research are those who joined "Cycling in Kaohsiung 2014." We adopt a questionnaire survey by accidental sampling. 1,256 valid questionnaires of survey questionnaires out of 1,500 copies we sent were collected. We analyzed the data we collected by item analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, compare means, and multiple regression analysis methods. Based on the results and analysis, we conclude: 1) That keeping healthy reaches the highest score in terms of motivation, that gaining rewards reaches the highest score in terms of the activity experience, that mental factor is the biggest obstacle in doing recreational sports, and that following up newsletters is more efficient to boost the intention of participation; 2) A significant difference was observed in backgrounds and types of activities that the subjects involve in terms of their motivations, experiences, obstacles, satisfaction, and intentions; 3) 26.3% of the variation in the satisfaction of cycling participants was explained by achievement pursuit, group experience, emotion experience, fitness, rewards, interpersonality, and physical-mental relaxation, 32.6% of the variation in the participante intentions of cycling participants was explained by quality satisfaction, related experience, mental obstacles, achievement pursuit, rewards experience, leisure satisfaction and group experience. In conclusion, the results show that cycling participants satisfaction were positively related to the motivations, experiences, and obstacles, and as well as could be predicted by which.
