Otherwise, the organization may either lead to annihilation or fail to achieve its goal of existence. Therefore, constant innovation turns to be necessary in any kinds of organizations. Innovation is the chief factor which stimulates the organization to grow and develop. Yet, what factor motivates the organization to innovate? The accumulation of intellectual capital, the important factor, should be paid much attention. Intellectual capital means the sums of intangible assets that the whole organization possesses. Intellectual capital not only becomes effective in enhancing the value of the organization but also keeps it competitive. As for academic organizations, under attack of declining birthrate, if they can accumulate and integrate their intellectual capital, and then innovate the organizations to draw more students to attend, the management of schools will stay in a stable condition.
This study, regarding intellectual capital as independent variables and organization innovation as dependent variables, discusses the relationship between intellectual capital and organizational innovation. The questionnaire survey, taking stratified samples, aims at the junior high school teachers in Changhua County. 520 copies of questionnaires, which are answered for collecting information, including 457 copies of valid questionnaires, reach 87.8% valid response rate. Next, analyze the received information with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and hierarchical regression analysis. Below are the study results:
(1)Teachers of different background variables appear significant differences on the cognition of intellectual capital.
(2)Teachers of different background variables show remarkable divergence on the cognition of organizational innovation.
(3)Intellectual capital has positive influences on innovative administrative management of organizational innovation.
(4)Intellectual capital has positive influences on innovative curricula teaching of organizational innovation.
(5)Intellectual capital has positive influences on innovative students’ activities of organizational innovation.
(6)Intellectual capital has positive influences on innovative organizational climate of organizational innovation.
(7)Intellectual capital has positive influences on innovative equipment resources of organizational innovation.
