| Summary: | 碩士 === 明道大學 === 企業高階管理碩士班 === 103 === With the influence of social change, thechange of family structure, the increases of two-people family and single-person household year by year, and the obvious phenomenon of declining birth rate in recent years; the first impact is the grassroots education. Declining birth rate reduces the number of students, so that many problems are derived from vacant space in school. For this reason, Ministry of Education implemented “ Activation of school space overall plan” in year 2011, and established “ Merging, Reuse and Revival of school space in Elementary and Junior High School website”; so as to plan revival strategies in school vacant space in elementary schools and junior high schools.
Due to declination of population and student enrollment declining in Changhua County, the government builds characteristic schools to replace abandoned and combined schools, so that only three schools were abandoned since year 2004. Shiny School is the best activated cooperative accommodation academy, and it is the model of vacant space in Elementary School.
This study takes Cooperative accommodation academy as an example, using current-status survey and in-depth interviews to understand the operating models of Cooperative accommodation academy. Furthermore, designing an internal satisfaction survey to analyze the satisfaction after reusing revival vacant space, and through the interactive analysis of campus SWOT and Importance-Performance Analysis- IPA. The conclusions and suggestions are as follows:
1. vacant space in Elementary School can be planned to be a re-learning place for exceptional student groups, or to be a experiment school of exceptional education model.
2. The government needs to work out the follow-up planning and usage to avoid the waste of re-building fund before abandoning or combining schools which are endangered shortage of enrollment.
3. The execution of “ Three Laws of Experimental Education “ can solve some problems of current educational organizations, and make small-scaled schools have more developments. So as to prevent the occurrence of M-shaped current in education.
