碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 觀光事業學系碩士在職專班 === 103 === The subjects of this study were the barrier-free facilities provided by twelve tourist attractions in Kinmen. Field surveys and observations were conducted on site, with the aim of examining whether these facilities were set up in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. Among the various individual items evaluated, the compliance rate for “indoor entrance/exit” signage was the highest (91%), while that for “designated seating for spectators on wheelchairs” was the lowest (29%). The average compliance rate for all twelve attractions was approximately 75%, with the Kinmen Double Carp Lake Vistor Center scoring the highest at 94%. Deyue Tower (including the former Jinshui Elementary School) had the lowest score at 47%. Based on the findings, recommendations on improving barrier-free facilities in the attractions were put forward for consideration by the supervising agencies. In addition, suggestions for follow-up studies by future researchers were also proposed.
