The dual stack, implementation of both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols on hosts and network devices, is the preferred solution in many scenarios. For migrating from IPv4 to IPv6, it is important to monitor the normal IPv6 traffic as well as anomaly IPv6 traffic. The thesis designs and implements a web-based IPv6 traffic management, which allows administrator to see the IPv6 traffic load over time in graphical form. The web-based IPv6 traffic management uses the nfcapd and Nfdump to collect the Netflow raw data which is exported by CISCO 6509, and uses the PHP program to store the Netflow raw data to MySQL database for managing IPv6 traffic. Now, the implemented web-based IPv6 traffic management has been deployed in Ming Chuan university Taoyuan campus for watching the IPv6 network activity in real time.
