碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 商品設計學系碩士班 === 103 === National Development Council estimated that Taiwan will be "aging society" in 2017. More elderly people accept digital product and new technology than before. It`s convenient to connect with family and friends for the elderly. In addition, PC and internet can apply on remote medical services. However, the elderly have many problems to use computer because physical aging. The topic of this study is the research of web interface for the elderly. Relevant literature reviewed and took experiment to know the usability of 2 different topologies. A 2×2×3 three mixed-factor design was adopted in this study: the topology of web interface (linear type and mixed type), sex, and task difficulty (easy, fair, and hard). Dependent variable is performance and Satisfaction. A total of 51 elderly (25 male and 26 female). The age is between 60-70 years-old. The performance is time of operation. The study results are: 1.The topology of web interface：The performance of the mixed type is superior to the linear type. 2.Sex: There is no significant between male and female in the operating performance. 3.Task Complexity: There is an interaction between task difficulty and menu structure. The higher the difficulty of the task, the superior is the hybrid structure. 4.SUS questionnaire：Questionnaire results showed that the satisfaction is match with performance.
