Summary:碩士 === 龍華科技大學 === 化工與材料工程系碩士班  === 103 === The influence of treated pressure and microwave power on the characteristic of microstructure, hardness and corrosion resistance by plasma nitriding on Fe-4Al-25Mn-9C-Ti alloy is investigated. Microwave plasma nitriding treatments were performed at 450℃ for 90min at working pressure in the range of 1-6Torr and microwave power in the range of 700-1000W. When treatments are performed at 4Torr, the surface hardness become from 1866HV, which is about three times that of the untreated alloy (431HV). In the corrosion resistance tests, the corrosion current decrease from 10-5 A to10-8 A. In conclusion, the nitrided layer thickness plays an important role in improving the surface hardness and corrosion resistance.
