Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 資訊管理系碩士在職專班 === 103 === Since 1950s, the "bags industry" has been developing for over 60 years in Taiwan. It is one of the most representative industries in the economic take-off period of Taiwan. With the increases in the national average income, such labor-intensive industry fails to apply technology upgrading. As a result, many factories have moved to regions with lower wages such as Mainland China and Middle-South Asia. In spite of the accumulated technology and management talents in manufacturing bags, some of these talents follow factories to leave Taiwan, or some of them maintain small-lot customized production, leading to the decline in their profitability and even giving up operation in the end. In recent years, due to the increase in labor cost in Mainland China and its large market, the factories in China mostly adopt mass production lines, thus bringing new opportunities to Taiwanese factories on small-lot orders. However, during the production process, the cost of cutting and sewing make the production not suitable for "customized" production, the operation and management cost tend increase for the original management process of production line, in spite of the relatively higher profits in customization. Hence, how to apply new information technology and management knowledge to reach small-lot production and even customized production is the key factor for the industry to maintain sustainable operation. This study purposes the Cloud Bag Customization (CBC) business model. The CBC proposed "modularized" design, which combines modern equipment and the concept of controlling semi-finished product in "MES", in order to achieve "mass customization" in a small foundry-Y company. Moreover, "mobile APP" is designed to provide customers with partial design function, in hope of breaking the current situation that the profits of the bags industry are being controlled by distributors. Moreover, by expanding the customer sources and increasing the gross profits, the employees' wages can be increased.
