Automobile engine plays an important role on an integrated framework of the car. It will be cause automobile engine damage and traffic unsafely when it overheat. At present, most of the way of Automobile engine temperature, warning system is using the indicator light and alert to remind the driver when the overheat happened. But it cannot tell the driver actual temperature and how degree of damage caused by an automobile engine, furthermore, not provide proposal for improvement and not have a database to record. That will increase the tension to cause the driver error operation. In this thesis, the temperature prediction system for automobile engine is developed. The engine temperature and engine revolution information through the automobile’s internal computer’s back to designed a determination system for degree of danger. Fuzzy algorithm doesn’t require complex mathematical formulas and can be used as the design basis of human experience, wherein the engine temperature, engine temperature difference (within 10 seconds) and engine revolution are the input reference factors. According to the temperature at the time as a reference to determine whether the difference between revolution and temperature variation be dangerous. The experiment results show that the proposed FUZZY Algorithm compares with normal dashboard and previous research which used the lower and upper bounds of the range. From this study can indicate alert, warn dialog , automobiles status and provide a proposal for improvement with smart devices as soon as the engine temperature is overheat, that reduce operator error, improve the quality of road safety.
