In the freshwater environment, natural habitats,Spirogyra will secrete large amounts of extracellular polymeric substance (EPS). Outer mucilage layer amount of extraction technology on the EPS chemical methods of separation, and separation of the different chemical extraction of isolated algae of this study was to investigate Spirogyra algae, as well as changes in the main components of proteins and polysaccharides compared to conditions . The results will be provided as a reference only understand Taiwan Spirogyra algae research, as well as large extracellular polymers filamentous algae and extraction technology.
