With the increase of the applied voltage and duration, the frequency of occurrence of partial discharge intensity will increase, followed by arcing, result in outages of power system which is often the main cause of the failure. If the discharge phenomenon of intensity, position, patterns can be effectively monitoring, the loss of electrical equipment can be prevented. The partial discharge detecting technique is widely used for testing molded-type equipment.
