These problems of power quality need to be prevented base on literatures before electric vehicle charging station is connected to grid.
In this paper, the voltage relationship with load, electric vehicle charging, line longth, and impedance is researceed by Matlab/Simulink when the electric vehicle charging is connected to the grid. In the test Scenarios, there are 1) five buildings with 22 mm2 wires and 3.2kW upper of electric vehicle chargings, 2) single builing with 2kW demand and 15.3kW upper of electric vehicle chargings, and 3) single builing with 4kW demand and 5.3kW upper of electric vehicle chargings.
Through the analysis of a jounior high school with electric vehicle charging in Tainan, the voltage manguited at connected point is satisfying with voltage variation ±10% of the utility rule. Mover over, no significant impacts on the line when the electric vehicle chargin enerizes 499kW. The results of analysis can provide references for users and power companies
