More than confronting to the challenges of job competency professionalization, within intensively competitive market environment, finance commissioners simultaneously are responsible for maintaining customer relationship quality as well as improving job performance. Since the former empirical studies of wealth management dwelled fewer in the orientations of the quality of customer relationship, this study is to probe the improvement of the competency of finance commissioners through the establishment of associated patterns within the job competency of finance commissioners, the quality of customer relationship, and the job performance, and then eventually to popularize the business of wealth management by the investigation of the connectedness of the quality of customer relationship and job performance.
To discuss the influence of job competency and relationship quality to the working performance, the objects of study are the finance commissioners working in the public, pan government-owned, and private financial institutions. In light of empirical consequences from the 385 shares of effective returned questionnaires, the job performance are significantly positive affected by job competency, especially in knowledge and techniques; the job performance are significantly positive affected by relationship quality; the relationship quality is significantly affected by job competency, which are knowledge, techniques, and attitudes; as for relationship quality, it is not a significant mediative effect between job competency and job performance.The results represent that, in a high competitive wealth management market in Taiwan, finance commissioners have to account for strengthening personal job competency, to enhance the customer relationship quality and the job performance.
