Among the semiconductors producing leaders, TSMC (Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing company, Limited) and UMC (United Microelectronics Corporation) have been listed as the major IC producers in the world. According to management researchers, the five financial aspects analysis have been utilized as measurement for performance and evaluation systems. Financial ratio analysis helps organization to identify the issues as well as elements that are related to profitability in certain enterprise or country. This research uses structural equation modeling to establish the five financial aspects analysis model by. This research results find that financial measurements are reliable when the organization’s performance and future predictions are needed to be made. The sample is taken randomly from 31 Taiwan Semiconductor Industry. There are 16 financial ratios in total that are analyzed. By using cluster analysis, we can classify the 31 Taiwanese semiconductor firms as 5 clusters with specific characteristics. The discriminant analysis result shows that the predictions are 100% compatible with reality.
