The system includes synchronous generator, 5MW load, three-phase transformer, 10MW load, three-phase ground fault and the grid. The system is simulated with MATLAB internal module by adjusting the parameters of exciting system and the speed governor; the transient stability performance is judged by critical clearing time, and the steady state stability is judged by observing the time domain waveform. The result shows that the system stability is acceptable while adjusting the parameters in this sort of system.
