This study is an experimental research. The purpose of the study is the researcher’s students of two classes in the first grade in a junior high school in Kaohsiung City. The study is a two-week experimental research. The purpose of the experiment is to compare the differences of the students’ achievement and learning attitude in the unit of Addition and Subtraction of Positive and Negative Numbers in the different two teaching methods, "board games teaching method" and "traditional didactic instruction teaching method.”The students are examined before and after the teaching experiment. Then data are collected to carry out descriptive statistics and One-way ANCOVA. All of these are done to examine whether the board games can improve students’ the learning efficiency of mathematics. 1. The mathematics learning achievement of the experimental group is significantly better than that of the control group. 2. The mathematics learning attitude of the experimental group is significantly better than that of the control group. 3.
