Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 103 === This study is aimed at to investigate the impact of the integration of mathematics teaching in board games on the learning efficiency of the students of the first grade in junior high school and to explore the students'' understanding of board games into the mathematics learning achievement and attitudes. This study is an experimental research. The purpose of the study is the researcher’s students of two classes in the first grade in a junior high school in Kaohsiung City. The study is a two-week experimental research. The purpose of the experiment is to compare the differences of the students’ achievement and learning attitude in the unit of Addition and Subtraction of Positive and Negative Numbers in the different two teaching methods, "board games teaching method" and "traditional didactic instruction teaching method.”The students are examined before and after the teaching experiment. Then data are collected to carry out descriptive statistics and One-way ANCOVA. All of these are done to examine whether the board games can improve students’ the learning efficiency of mathematics. 1. The mathematics learning achievement of the experimental group is significantly better than that of the control group. 2. The mathematics learning attitude of the experimental group is significantly better than that of the control group. 3. After teaching mathematics with board games, the students who are taught with board games give positive affirmation of the board games teaching method.
