With great number of employees, it is very important for HD Bank to study its employees’ motivation. This study aims to examine factors that affect employees’ motivation at HD bank. This on-site survey was conducted and 150 usable questionnaires are collected in May and June 2015 from employees at Hanoi HD Bank. Data are analyzed by SPSS software with descriptive analysis, testing Cronbach’s Alpha, using Regression, ANOVA and T-test. Results show that working environment and development prospects have positive effect on employees ‘motivation. Besides, human environment has stronger influence on employees’ motivation than other factors. Wage and benefit doesn’t affect employee motivation. In addition, there are differences between gender and employee motivation.
