Summary: | 碩士 === 義守大學 === 工業管理學系 === 103 === In the past, the safety concepts which all the factory leaders or managers have emphasized were mostly either on the design of the workshops, facilities, environments, and traffic flow, or on the improvement of management, inspection, and training. They didn’t realize that humans themselves are the key to everything. Even the best systems and facilities are eventually controlled by the people. The mistakes made by people always lead to the severe safety concerns.
Therefore, this study is based on the ergonomics point of view to discuss the safety management issues of ship repair works on the Naval Logistics Commands. Not only considering the existed facilities, environments, and management, putting more emphasis on the human factors.
Ergonomics is a research method related to the interface of human and environment. It studies the human error factors and to find out the causes and solutions. Put the ergonomics into the management and inspection mechanism of the organization to conduct the control and prevention measures. Specifically the process transforms to the safety management checklist in this study, which is expected to provide a feasible tools for the workshop employees at logistics support commands.
This study is based on the safety management, ergonomics theories, and the 25 years working experience in Navy, and by means of expertise interview and questionnaire analysis. The industrial safety inspection was focus on the physical condition and working environment, like employee work examination and machine inspection, which was lacking of employee’s mental condition, family impact, for example. Therefore, this study establishes a safety checklist for the workshop employees which can check their physical and mental conditions in accordance with ergonomics spirits.
