With skipping brand industries, Quanta Cloud cooperates with the manufacturer of server system solution, and opens up another white-box cloud server market with ODM(Original Design Manufacturer) Direct model. In 2014, Foxconn declared a battle for its market share at joint venture with HP, which conveys the opposing force against Quanta. Confronting the means of industry chain overthrow dictated to seize the share in white-box market by such world renowned cooperation, Barry Lam responded that the active put-in of the world known company proves their accurate decision with the foresighted strategy. Quanta’s technical service meets customers’ request the most, and has chance to be the leader of the market. Based on the theory of disruptive innovation of Clayton M. Christensen, this study discusses through the strategic means of cloud industry by company-case in depth. By snowball sampling technigue to the full-time research managers working more than ten years of service from the company, two PM members, each two members for facility and packaging related to hardware, two software members, two sales members, there are totally 10 who specialized in cloud industrial department ranked as experts. Having interviews with non-structured discussion, the factor of successful cloud strategy can be resulted from their content analysis. With AHP to carry out the weight analysis after the completing of its integration, experts deemed that Quanta’s disruptive innovation can overturn the whole layout of cloud industry chain for their beginning with innovative capability given priority to market concern, secondly the engineering capability they are proud of, thirdly the new localized-lead service and finally the long-run production advantage which lead it to a successful arrangement. The relevant tactical weight of this study made from the interviewed experts, questionnaires resulted in successful strategy of cloud industry by company-case provides companies engaging follow-up cloud industry strategy or scholars researching cloud industry as a reference basis.
