Description
Summary:碩士 === 弘光科技大學 === 環境工程研究所 === 103 === The indoor air quality (IAQ) plays an important role in the human health and comfort ability of occupants, especially in hospitals. The nosocomial airborne contamination in hospitals can arrive from non-biological and biological sources, which in-turn causes precipitating of symptoms and infecting disease in susceptible subject’s i.e. elderly or immuno-compromised subjects. For analysis and maintenance protocols to comprise the hospital IAQ within the IAQ standards, I use the Andersen single-stage viable particle sizing sampler to investigate the presence of bacteria and fungi in the indoor-air of a hospital. In addition, we intend to investigate the relationship between IAQ and various environmental factors such as CO2 concentration, temperature, relative humidity, PM10 and PM2.5. The sampling was taken place at nine specific locations in the hospital, southern Taiwan during the time period of 18 January 2014 till 5 December 2014. Form this study, we understand the bio-aerosols average concentration range at these nine area. Two different sampling was used in this specific study: the TSA technique and MEA technique. The TSA technique, the sample was kept in an incubation of 48 hours at 30 degrees. The result shows that the average concentrations of the bacteria (CFU/m3) with these specific locations (A-I) were 937±281, 805±330, 436±237, 1648±269, 1252±451, 1196±372, 1485±421, 403±108, 178±94. The MEA technique, the sample was kept in an incubation of 48 hours at 30 degrees. The fungal average concentrations (CFU/m3) were 166±65, 124±32, 189±98, 65±28, 28±19, 70±40, 106±43, 207±146, 294±124. This study has identified five different species of bacteria as Acinetobacter, Bacillus megaterium, Microbacterium, Micrococcus, Staphylococcus. The fungal species was identified as follows Aspergillus niger strain, Eutypa, Fusarium, Penicillium, Phellinus noxius, Pseudozyma.
