In this study, the strapping hand tools, for example, using the FMEA method, for major components of products, explore product performance and reliability upgrading and other two demands, through the analysis of the form, which may occur to identify the failure and possible. The reason, to assess its severity, degree of occurrence and elusive, through calculable risk priority index (Risk Priority Number, referred RPN), and in accordance with the level of RPN's values determine the priority problem-solving, and high values for the RPN failures propose solutions. The research methods applied in the development process or work products of hand tools, does have its real viability. Collate and analyze the results obtained after the conclusion of the following three points: 1. The purpose of the implementation of FMEA that early detection of quality problems and its countermeasures in advance and processing, so that all quality problems are to be resolved in advance within the company. Heavy loss prevention failure. 2. Before the assembly process upstream parts manufacturers caused by the manufacturing sector group legislature or error caused by the product can reach the goal of reducing the defect rate and avoid the bad quality products shipped to market. 3. Set up a research and development process database, and thereby the product design and development experience of the successful heritage, as a follow-designer of reference.
