Three major features are revealed from the observed rainfall data at Huafan weather station for the past ten years. First of all, the precipitation of Huafan campus is mainly come from the continuous rainy days which peak periods are found from October to January next year. The variation of annual rainy days shows two peaks between year of 2003-2007 and 2008-2012. The average rainy days of second peak is more eight days than that of the first one. Secondly, the top three with higher probability of sequential rainy days of over eight days are observed in January, November and September respectively. Among them, the maximum intensity of rainfall is also appeared in September and the maximum hourly rainfall of heavy-rain days is concentrated the time of 14:00 - 16:00 daily, which the occurrence of maximum probability appeared at 15:00. Last, the top three with higher probability of daily rainfall (0.5~9.5 mm) in Huafan are observed in March, April and February respectively. In Spring, which the probability of this daily rainfall covers 60%. According to these information, which are able to discuss the effects of rainfall on people's lives, plant growth and slope disasters.
