Health preservation in self-cultivation becomes indispensable to accomplish the end of longevity. Calligraphy is the act for self-cultivation, can allow your unsteady motion to calm down; that is also a way for health preservation. The present research serves to interpret “Health Preservation and Praise of Life”– “Birthday”. “Celebration of birth” and “Praise of Life” are two themes in the study. With the concept of that, it is expectable to absorb “verses, ditties, odes and songs” and “well-known sayings and famous remarks” in the classic literature as well as modern words relating to health preservation. Moreover, I may start the calligraphic creation through the expression of it in presenting the details and representing the concept of health preservation of oldest people and trying to reflect joyful and celebrated mood for the “Birthday”. The “Birthday” theme be expressed by means of form, idea, stillness and slowness in the calligraphy. The present thesis consists of six chapters. Section 1: Introduction, as to elaborate and define clearly motives, purposes and scope of the research be clarified. Section 2: Tried explaining the principles of calligraphic creation. To outline of the features of calligraphic fonts, beauty of the rhythm of its points and lines, relations with other arts; share a rough understanding and knowledge in regard to history, artistic characteristics and functions of calligraphy. Section 3: This section is relative to the theme of “Birthday”. Firstly depicted definitions and customs of birthday culture, and summarized the data, the titles of calligraphic creation, such as: auspicious words for birthday celebration and famous sayings for health preservation. Section 4: Tried showing all kinds of expressive shapes of the word “Life”, roughly stating the interpretation by other races in China. Meanwhile, I also summarized figures of “Long Life and Good Luck”. Section 5: Explaining the creative philosophy of my own, also showing my curative concepts and creative expression forms. Curative concepts are represented by two areas in the work. The one is “Auspicious words for birthday celebration in the area of Praise of Life”; the second “Good Method for Health Preservation in the area of Birthday Celebration” so as to expand my own artistic philosophy. Section 6: Conclusion: I am expecting that the people can preserve health easily by means of calligraphy and attain to the end of happy “Praise of Life”. From that everybody can “Preserve health every day and Praise Life every year”. Huang-Chih-Yang 黃智陽 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 89 zh-TW |
