Summary:碩士 === 華梵大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士班 === 103 === ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to study the function of a topic material integrated with information technology in the effectiveness of Primary School students’ community style learning and the enhancement of their identification ability about their community’s culture and its geographical environment. The study took two second-grade classes’ students as samples, using the quasi-experimental method to do an experimental teaching with a material based on the Living Curriculum textbook integrated with the subject of community culture designed by the researcher. In order to conduct a comparative study between the normal group and the experimental one with the new material mentioned above. After finalizing the experiment, the researcher evaluated the students’ performance using her self-designed method to review individually the samples and their placement of percentage, supplemented by the experimental subjects’ advices, to do a statistical analysis for the results. The results revealed that: 1. A topic material integrated with information technology can concretely improve the students’ learning performance. 2. A topic material integrated with information technology makes no influence to the community culture learning. 3. A topic material integrated with information technology can increase the students’ awareness about their community culture. 4. A topic material integrated with information technology makes no difference to the students’ learning about the characteristics of their region. 5. A topic material integrated with information technology can improve the students’ learning attitude. 6. The experimental subjects reactive positively to a topic material integrated with information technology and recognize its function.
