Based on their data, BBC has pointed out that, merely in Taipei city, house prices increased by 50% within the past four years, the fourth highest in Asia. It's a serious problem that the average price of new houses in Taipei city reaches 0.22 million NTD/m2 whereas the average salary didn't increase for 13 years. Therefore, citizens' consuming capacity for housing is a critical and urgent issue. The aim of this study is to discuss the differences in background and consuming capacity between clusters of citizens using the data mining analysis of their related consumption records, and to provide them with recommendations regarding practically affordable dwelling houses for individual cluster. Additionally, the color-coded map of different clusters in this study may also inform the citizens and responsible officials about the regional differences in average incomes and consuming capacity.
