Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 兒童與家庭學系碩士在職專班 === 103 === The thesis targeted at creating a suitable aptitude test for student, to analyze if one is equipped with the potential ability for specific career filed. The test is required to be of high reliability and validity, and the research is conducted by Purposive Sampling, with the chosen sample being 258 Junior High school students in New Taipei City, all of them in 8th or 9th Grade. Based on past reference materials and researches, the aptitude test is divided into 6 topics, which includes: (1) proficiency in Chinese vocabulary and phrases, (2) ability in language logic, (3) basic proficiency in English, (4) ability for mathematic logic, (5) knowledge for science, and (6) assessment on consciousness speed. The research result is as following: 1. Each result of the six tests is relevant to one another, with Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient between 0.19 to 0.67. 2.The correlation of Split-half reliability is between 0.73 to 0.97;The criterion-related validity and multiple aptitude tests is of correlation between 0.48 to 0.75;The criterion-related validity and school performance is of correlation between 0.41 to 0.85. The indicators suggest the aptitude test is with high reliability and validity. 3. Based on the sampling data, the research further proceeded analysis of variation: (1)In terms of Gender, there is remarkable difference when it comes to English proficiency performance, with female students having higher scores than male students. (2)In terms of Grades, 9th Grade students excel by far in Chinese vocabulary and phrases proficiency, and mathematic logic, compared with 8th Grade students. 4.The six tests were come together to the same factor, explain approximately a total variance of 53.1% The last part of the research is conclusion based on the research result, and suggestion for aptitude test application, as well as advice for future research.
