碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 電子商務碩士在職專班 === 103 === From 1911 to 1971, Taiwan’s birth rate was rocketing and remaining high due to undeveloped medical knowledge and unstable economy that cause people worry about their infants’ survival. From then within 50 to 100 years, the aging population boosted and led to the aging society of Taiwan. At the current stage, the government comes up with a 10-year long-term care plan and insurance scheme, which they aim to pass on the burden cost from aging population to the people. However, from the result of planning and actual implement of the scheme, it comes to a conclusion that the government’s division of work is too specific and does not cohesively operate. Therefore, the cost of long-term care increases rapidly every year. This triggers my initiative of the following research. This research will emphasize on the resource integration of future development of long-term care and the feasibility of development access. The purpose of the research is the following: 1. Illustrate on government’s proposal of 10-year elderly long-term care scheme and its actual implementation. 2. Analyze the long-term care resources proposed by the Social Welfare Department website, which includes home care, society and home rehabilitation, respite services, home services, day care, family care, shuttle services, elderly nutritious meals, improvement on assistance with purchasing/renting accessible environment, and long-term care service organization. 3. The research will adopt interview methods to investigate the future trend of long-term care integration platform. Due to the discovery of corruption in long-term aging population care organization and elderly welfare system in this industry, this research does not require the same level of care service. Thus the result of the research is mainly based on the future prospect of the investigation of long-term care integration platform.
