GO/Epoxy and RGO/Epoxy GO or RGO has different weight fractions of 0.5wt%, 1 wt%, 1.5 wt%, 2 wt%, and 3 wt%. Four kinds of mechanical properties including tensile, fatigue life, high temperature tensile and thermal fatigue life are measured and compared by micro force testing machine. Tensile test results show that addition of GO and RGO can increase tensile strength. When GO or RGO add 2wt% in epoxy, tensile strength is 75.93MPa and 77.02MPa respectively. Then increase the environment temperature to 50℃ and test tensile again, the results show when GO or RGO add 2wt% in epoxy, tensile strength is 51.04MPa and 57.43MPa respectively. Fatigue test results show when GO or RGO add 2wt% in epoxy and 50% of the maximum stress parameters, fatigue life is 27722 and 33262 times respectively. When we test the same composites and condition by thermal fatigue, fatigue life is 18628/19594 times respectively. From the results of the four tests of mechanical properties, it can be seen that the reinforcing effect RGO better than GO.
