To cope with rapidly changing global economic environment, small and medium enterpeises (SMEs) face greater challenges. How to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs in both the operation and management is critical. This study intends to use financial factors and financial strucure to analyze the potential financial crisis in SMEs. It is also important to establish a sound financial structure, and to enhance the confidence of banks to finance SMEs so as to successfully obtain operating funds required. As a result, SMEs can create a competitive advantage and sustainable development, and create greater enterprise value.
