Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 國際貿易學系 === 103 === ABSTRACT During the last decades, there are an increasing number of scholars and practitioners have adopted Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as one of the concern. CSR already become a hot issue in speeches, articles, conference papers, and books; companies formulate codes of conduct and report on the social and environmental impacts; and socially responsible investors place huge amounts of money in socially responsible companies. Governments and international organizations increasingly integrate CSR in policy papers, and voluntary organizations take part in designing and maintaining a wide range of social and environmental management standards. In other words, CSR has swept across the world and has become one of the buzzwords of the new millennium. Applying CSR in company involve multiple parties, such as the management team, staffs, and other parties outside the company that have effect on company itself, in this research that outside parties we want to investigate about is suppliers and branches. This research conducted towards GKB security solution provider based in Taichung, Taiwan. This is a multinational company which has branches in Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. This study will investigate about GKB headquarter in Taiwan, branches in Thailand and Indonesia, and its suppliers’ relationship that related with ethical issue. Research conducted in qualitative paradigm by using observation and interview method. The findings of this study are briefly described as follows: 1. GKB decision making is greatly influenced by Top Management Team. 2. GKB has standard environmental friendly material that won’t harm the product users. Refer to this requirement; the company only wants to have collaboration with suppliers that meet the standard. 3. GKB treat their employee as part of family that grows together.
