The image captured by CCD was used for image processing to highlight the defect position, enhance image contrast, and judge whether the defect exceeds the permissible range. The image contour was analyzed by edge detection, and combined with edge evaluating parameters to improve the quality of the coating edge. Use filtering and chain code to eliminate or filled small noise in the image. Analyzed the image and determine whether the mirror is defects. The experiment was repeatedly conducted, and the system misrecognition was less than 4%.
