Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 休閒事業管理學系碩士在職專班 === 103 === This study focused on the exploration of lifestyle, small travelling parcitiation experiences/motivations/cognitions and willingness to participate small travel. A structural questionnaire was well-defined and there were 581 copies were sent to people over 18 years of age in Taichung City with convenience sampling. There were 407 valid copies returned for further statistical analysis with SPSS 18.0. Major findings were concluded as followings:
1. Profile of people attended small travel were 36-45 years old, with college or university education, having jobs in services industries, the average monthly income NT 20,001 to 40,000, and unmarried women.
2. Some people heard the small travel and had participated in three or more.
3. Motivations for young people to participate small travel were looking for something new and making new friends. There were significantly differences on the motivation of participating small travel with different ages, jobs, monthly income, participating experiences, last time to participate.
4. There were significantly differences on the cognition of small travel with different participating experiences, last time to participate.
5. The pro-active lifestyle had higher motivation than the casual-social-interaction lifestyle and traditional lifestyle, as well as the pro-active lifestyle had higher cognition than the other two lifestyles.
6. The motivation and cognition of small travel could predict the willingness to participate small travel positively.
According to the research findings, this study provided some practical recommendations for the up-coming study, governmental agencies, community organizations interested in small travel.
