Description
Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 環境工程學系碩士在職專班 === 103 === This study aims at a discussion about correlations among Changhua elementary school teachers' perception of power supply and nuclear power generation, attitude towards nuclear abolition, and energy saving behaviors, and about the influences of personal background-related variables thereupon. On such basis, it is hoped that specified and practical suggestions could be raised to render referential information for power and nuclear energy education and related researches in the future. Questionnaire survey was adopted, and descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's product moment correlation analysis were conducted. The findings are mainly as follows: 1. About attitude towards nuclear energy, of elementary school teachers in Chuanghua city, 74.6% approves gradual nuclear abolition, and 73.2% opposes running the Fourth Nuclear Power Plant. 2. Gender, academic discipline and study experience all pose significant influences on perception of power supply. As research results show, male teachers better female ones; graduates from science, engineering, agriculture and medicine better those from other academic disciplines; and teachers with related study experience better those that have never taken any. 3. Gender and study experience make considerable differences in attitude towards nuclear abolition. As the study proves, female teachers more agreeable male ones; and teachers without related study experience more agreeable those with the same. 4. Academic discipline leads to significant differences in energy saving behaviors. Teachers from “science, engineering, agriculture and medicine” better those from “other” academic disciplines; and teachers from “art, literature and physical education” better those from “other” academic disciplines. 5. There are significant positive correlations between attitude towards nuclear abolition and energy saving behaviors among elementary school teachers in Changhua City. Those get higher scores in attitude towards nuclear abolition conduct energy saving behaviors more actively.
