The purpose of this study is to understand the personality of the firefighters, job stress and job satisfaction affect the relationship, believing that the government and other units in the fire of reference and administrative improvements.
In this study, the Department of Mining questionnaire to the Taoyuan area firefighters field for the study, in order to personally deliver the way issued 340 questionnaires, effective sample recovered a total of 306 copies. The resulting data use descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, T test, variance analysis and regression analysis and intermediary validation sample studies. The Institute obtained the following conclusions:
1. In this sample study, the personal characteristics (place of service, sex,
age, marriage, education, the years of work) have no difference on the
personalities, job stress and job satisfaction.
2. Personality has a positive impact on job stress.
3. Personality has a negative impact on job satisfaction.
4. Job stress has a negative effect on job satisfaction.
5. The research of firefighters, job stress has a mediation effect on the
personality traits and job satisfaction.
