| Summary: | 博士 === 大葉大學 === 管理學院博士班 === 103 === This study sought to apply the theory of planned behavior (TPB) as the core of the Research Model, and according to the senior citizens’ participation in playing gateball of constructs as exogenous variables. 614 Taiwanese senior citizens who are gateball players were asked to respond to the questionnaire and explore behavior model to impact on leisure well-being. The results reveal the following: (1) attitude, Subjective Norm and perceived behavioral control have positive and significant effects on gateball playing behavior, and Finally, significantly impact on leisure well-being. (2) Except household on subjective norm have not significant effects , Perceived Usefulness/easiness to Attitude, best friend/peer to subjective norm, Self-efficacy /environment resources to perceived behavioral control, have positive and significant effects. The most strength of exogenous variable is Perceived Usefulness, the secondary is best friend, and the third is self-efficacy. For effective promoting elder participation gateball sport, and reach the will of leisure well-being, The Government, Privary Sector`s, and Gateball Association must develop and promote elder participation gateball sport, and propaganda through best friend having obtained leisure well-being from gateball usefulness, establish the confidence of elder gateball, and strengthen gateball environment resources to let elder play gateball in anywhere. Besides, The actual contribution of the study in theory is to enlarge TPB Theory applying to leisure sport.
