This research took advantage of one set of brake caliper to be innovative brake caliper with backup brake system. There are three main functions of this system. Firstly, it can be the replacement when original brake system is malfunctioned. Secondly, it can be assisted to recover brake force when it is not enough. Thirdly, it can secure human life when brake system is inactive. Using the CarSim software to simulate the performance of the innovated system.
