碩士 === 大葉大學 === 環境工程學系碩士班 === 103 === This study mainly explored the students’ cognitions, attitudes, and behaviors on thesafety and hygiene of Comprehensive Automobile Workshop in Chang-Hua. Commercial and Industrial Vocational High School. And this study would show how student backgrounds influence the results.. A total of 800 questionnaires were issued, 560 valid copies were returned. The response rate was 70%. The questionnaire surveys were carried out by analyzing the collected data using the descriptive statistics,independent-sample T test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe Post-hoc comparison and Pearson product-moment correlation. According the questionnaires. there are five independent variables in students'backgrounds: gender, grade, people who had accident during practical lessons,technician certificate, and participation in safety and hygiene drill; dependent variables are the attitudes and behaviors in Comprehensive Automobile Workshop.The results are as follows: (1) The highest score was obtained in the section of public security & protection forcognitions about the safety and hygiene of Comprehensive Automobile Workshop, while nowadays, public security & protection show the highest; the teaching devices the lowest was obtained in the section of the teaching devices. (2) The highest score was obtained in behaviors and the lowest was obtained in attitudes about the safety and hygiene of Comprehensive Automobile Workshop. (3) Their cognitions about the safety and hygiene of Comprehensive Automobile Workshop would show differently from the certain background variables. (4) Their behaviors and attitudes about the safety and hygiene of Comprehensive Automobile Workshop would show differently from the certain background variables. (5) Significant positive correlations were found between public security & protection and the attitudes of safety and hygiene; Low correlations were found between the teaching devices and the behaviors. of safety and hygiene.
