Three hundred questionnaires are sent to the teachers working in the five high schools in Chushan with 245 of the questionnaires filled in and considered valid. The author of the paper applies descriptive statistics, Independent-Sample T-test, One-way analysis of variance, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient to make the statistical analysis. The discovery of the research can be concluded into the following seven points. 1. The subjects of the research have a low-intermediate level of knowledge of the sand and gravel business and its connection to the air quality. 2. The subjects of the research hold a more inactive and negative attitude toward the sand and gravel business and its connection to the air quality. 3. The subjects of the research have a more positive behavioral response to the sand and gravel business and its link with the air quality. 4. The subjects’ understandings of the air quality and its relevance to the sand and gravel business vary greatly with their working positions as administrative heads and teaching subjects. 5. There is a stark difference of attitudes between the genders of the researched subjects toward the air quality and the sand and gravel business. 6. The background variables of the researched subjects make no difference to their reaction to the air quality and its link with the sand and gravel business. 7. The study reveals the positive correlation between the researched subjects’ knowledge and their behavioral reaction to the air quality and its connection to the sand and gravel business.
