It also explores the moderating effect produced by the individual person-job fit on the relationship between teachers’ multicultural literacy and self-efficacy. With public elementary teachers in Taoyuan City as its study objects, this research adopted a questionnaire survey by means of Sample Gathering on the teachers. 300 copies of questionnaire were issued, among which 295 ones were responded. 287 valid samples were obtained by deducting 8 invalid ones. The effective responding rate was 95.66%. In the wake of descriptive statistics, reliability & validity analysis, T-test, single-factor mutating numerical analysis and Pearson product moment correlation and regression analysis conducted with statistical software SPSS for the obtained information, the results are as follows: 1. The degree of public primary school teachers' multicultural literacy is at the upper intermediate level. 2. The degree of public primary school teachers' self-efficacy is at the upper intermediate level. 3. The degree of public primary school teachers' person-job fit is at the upper intermediate level. 4. There are no significant differences among elementary school teachers' multicultural literacy, self-efficacy and individual person-job fit as different background variables. 5. Elementary school teachers' multicultural literacy has a remakable positive effect on self-efficacy. 6. Elementary school teachers' multicultural cognition has a remakable positive effect on self-efficacy. 7. Elementary school teachers' multicultural cordiality has a remakable positive effect on self-efficacy. 8. Elementary school teachers' multicultural skills has a remakable positive effect on self-efficacy. 9. Elementary school teachers' person-job fit has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between multicultural literacy and self-efficacy. 10. Elementary school teachers' person-job fit has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between multicultural cognition and self-efficacy. 11. Elementary school teachers' person-job fit has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between multicultural cordiality and self-efficacy. 12. Elementary school teachers' person-job fit has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between multicultural skills and self-efficacy.
