The activity of reading articles and pictures conducted to the children initially, following with observing the above-mentioned ability by using individual’s work and group’s work. This research aimed to explore the ability of oral description for children to read articles and pictures as well as enhance and develop the ability of children's graphic narrative by implementing suitable teaching program. This research took eight months by dividing into two stages, the subjects we selected are the children who taught by the researcher, including 9 students with 4 to 5 years old, 18 students with 3 to 4 years old, totally 27 students participated. The purpose of this research includes: 1) To investigate the ability of children to learn graphic narrative course. 2) Graphic narrative analysis of early learning problems encountered by its ability to resolve the way. 3) Enhance a children’s ability of oral description learning by structuring a systematic picture and article learning project, three proposals were involved, 1) What were development processes of graphic narrative competence of children ? 2) What problems encountered when children learn graphic narrative?What was the solution? 3) How enhanced a children’s ability of oral description learning by structuring a systematic picture and article learning project? Three conclusions have been found out from this research, 1) The learning experience for the ability of oral description for children to read articles and pictures from initial stage to development stage, we focused on the language structure, observing children could express from single sentence and make good progress to express complicated and complex sentence later. When expressing a specific thing, they started from simple terms of adjective, time, space and quantity in the beginning and developing to describe a specific and objective story entirely. Regarding the description structure, they could describe the scenario with continuance, creativity, imagination and time sequence as well as share what they have read with the other children in an interactive action, instead of the structure with a separate event, day-to-day description and disconnected description. 2) The bottleneck for the children’s description ability could be eliminated. When the story created by the children collectively, more features in the story can be shown up clearer and the description ability for the children have been upgraded, meanwhile, through the framework of peer group, elder children could lead younger children to learn something interactively and correct the blind imitation between peer by utilizing story conduction, role-playing, furthermore, with teacher’s help, the children could develop an advanced description ability beyond their age limitation. 3) In the first stage, conducted the participated children on how to develop the ability of oral description by reading articles and pictures, build a description concept and cultivate the basic description ability. In the second stage, cultivated the basic description ability by conducting the description created by group of student based on what we have had in the first stage. According to the outcome, five aspects can be provided as the reference for parents, teachers who teach the class with multiple-ages children,instructors, on-job-training teachers, administration departments in schools and official education departments. teachers as well as the other researchers who might be interested.
